In May 1931 Albert Einstein was invited by Oxford University to give a three-part lecture series on relativity. A blackboard was preserved from the second lecture. Captured on this canvas belt are several of those equations. Einstein’s blackboard deals with some of the most fundamental questions in cosmology and serves as a testament to his irresistible desire to understand the secrets of nature. Each belt comes with a hangtag that tells the story.
